예수님을 체험하고 사랑과 믿음 그리고 섬김의 공동체로써 주님의 증인이 되는것이 엎드림교회의 미션입니다.

Vision Statement

엎드림교회의 비전은 하나님의 말씀과 기도로 거룩하여 지고 성령의 인도하심을 따라 삶이 예배가 되는 교회가 되어 (디모데전서 4:5) 제자를 양육하고 협력하여 더 많은 교회를 세워나가는 사역에 있으며 또한 하나님의 복음을 들고 땅끝까지 가서 좋은 소식을 전할 선교사들을 파송하는 사역에 있습니다 (마태복음 28장 19-20절).

   

십자가 앞에 엎드림은 겸손과 자기 부인을 나타내며 오로지 주님께만 모든 주권이 있음을 인정하는 예배의 자세입니다. 이러한 엎드림의 예배가 하나님의 말씀과 기도로 삶이 되고 성령님의 인도하심을 믿고 따라가는 주님께서 기뻐하시는 교회가 되길 소망합니다.

예배는 기독교 신앙의 핵심적인 부분으로 간주되어, 하나님께 경배와 찬양을 올려 드리는 행위로 고대 영어 “ weorthscipe” 라는 말에서 유래되어 “엎드리다” 라는 뜻이 있습니다. 십자가 앞에 엎드림은 겸손과 자기 부인을 나타내며 오로지 주님께만 모든 주권이 있음을 인정하는 예배의 자세입니다. 이러한 엎드림의 예배가 하나님의 말씀과 기도로 삶이 되고 성령님의 인도하심을 믿고 따라가는 주님께서 기뻐하시는 교회가 되길 소망합니다.  

Welcome to UpDream Church where worship is deemed a pivotal aspect of our faith, serving as a means to offer reverence and adoration towards God the Almighty. The act of worship, which originates from the Old English term "weorthscipe," meaning "to fall face down," embodies the posture of humility and submission that is central to our worship experience. “UpDream” means “falling face down” in Korean. At UpDream Church, we long to worship our living God in spirit and truth.

The vision statement of UpDream Church is to become a God-pleasing church as a body of Christ sanctified through the word of God and prayer, surrendering our daily life to be an act of worship, which will result in making disciples, planting churches, and sending out missionaries to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
